Music Enrichment with Ms. Janna

Starting tomorrow, Janna Matthies (a.k.a. "The Music Lady") will be providing music and movement classes for all preschoolers at Fairview ECP.  Her aim is to encourage a love of music as well as confidence in music participation.  She brings her guitar along and invites children to join in traditional, original, and contemporary songs.  Basic musical concepts such as fast/slow (tempo), loud/soft (dynamics), and high/low (pitch) are introduced along the way.  Scarves, egg shakers, rhythm sticks and other tools add to the fun.  Look for her visits scheduled on various Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the year.
